PROCESSION OF JESÚS NAZARENO (JESUS NAZARENE)
Religious brotherhood in charge: Pontificia y Real Hermandad Sacramental y de Ánimas y Cofradía de Nazarenos de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y María Santísima de los Dolores.
The first float that parades during this procession is called the misterio and it is made up of a group of sculptures considered to be one of the most emblematic images of Easter Week in Estepa: Jesus carrying the cross and Symone of Cyrene helping him. The sculpture that represents Jesus was carved by Luis Salvador Carmona in the 17th century and the Virgin is an artwork from Francisco Sánchez Aracid from 1910.
